You can find us at B/82 in Sursagar Apartment here in Ahmedabad. This is our home base where we handle the day-to-day operations for our leisure business. It’s not a flashy office building with a glass front. It’s a regular apartment where we’ve set up our desks and computers. Most of our time is spent coordinating things and making sure our various properties are being looked after properly. There are always emails to answer and phone calls to take, mostly about bookings or maintenance issues that pop up. We are a small team, and we all wear different hats depending on what needs to be done that day. One day I might be looking at financial statements, and the next I’m helping sort out a guest’s problem at a different site. Being in an apartment complex means we have to keep the noise down for the neighbors. It feels more like a small family business than a big corporation. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture or high-end technology. We just use what we have to keep things running. The area around Sursagar is pretty standard for Ahmedabad, with its usual mix of shops and traffic. We’ve been here for several years now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things get messy, but we just keep at it and try to stay on top of everything daily.
