Our office is in Manthan Apartments, which is tucked away behind the Love Complex in the Kankaria part of Maninagar. Kalpesh H. Pandya is the one usually running the show here at number 12. It’s a local neighborhood and we feel like part of the community here in Ahmedabad. We deal with leisure and travel stuff but it’s not like those big corporate agencies you see on TV. We are just a small team working out of a residential-style building. Kankaria Lake is nearby so there are always people around and the atmosphere is generally pretty lively. We spend our days booking rooms and talking to people about where they want to spend their time off. It can get a bit hectic when the holiday seasons come around and everyone wants to go to the same places at once. The office has a very lived-in feel with various files and old calendars on the walls. We don't bother with fancy decorations because we are more focused on getting the details right for the people who come to see us. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or slow internet but that is just part of life here. We like the personal touch of being in a real neighborhood where we can walk out and get a snack from the local vendors. It’s a simple way of doing business and it seems to work for us and the people we help.
