We’ve been here at U 1 Anisha Complex for quite some time now. If you know New Vikas Gruh Road in Paldi, you probably know where we are. It’s right near Mahalaxmi Cross Road, which is always busy. Mostly, we spend our days dealing with various electric items and all the stuff needed for mandaps. People come in looking for things they can hire for their functions. It’s a lot of physical work, moving chairs, lights, and heavy decor pieces around the storage area. The shop isn't fancy, just a practical space where we keep our inventory and talk to people who stop by. We usually start early in the morning because that’s when the deliveries go out. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the equipment moving in and out, but that’s just how it is. We know most of the neighbors around here by now. Being in Paldi means there is always something happening outside the door. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone needs a specific type of lighting or a certain number of chairs for a small gathering, they just come and ask. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t do much online; it’s mostly just people walking in or calling us from the neighborhood. Life is busy, especially during the wedding season when everything we own is out at different spots in the city. It’s hard work but it keeps us going.
