Navaratna Medical And Pro. Store

Our store is located on the 1st floor of Shetrunjay Society, right across from the Nirav Flat on Narayan Nagar Road. It is in the Shantivan area of Paldi here in Ahmedabad. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to get to us, which is a bit different from most medical shops on the ground floor. The space is filled with tall glass cabinets and rows of shelves packed with all kinds of medicine boxes. We spend a lot of time climbing up and down ladders to reach the stock on the top rows. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though Narayan Nagar Road gets its fair share of traffic during the rush hours. We have a small counter where we sit and wait for people to come in with their lists of items. Most of the time is spent reading handwriting on slips of paper and double-checking the labels on the bottles. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The lighting inside is a bit bright because we need to see the small print on the packaging. Sometimes we sit by the window and watch the people going into the flats across the street. It is a steady job that keeps us busy from the morning until quite late in the evening when the last customer leaves.
