Naval Medicaid General Stores

Naval Medicaid General Stores has been a part of this Ahmedabad 380001 neighborhood for years. Despite the name, we carry a lot more than just health-related stuff. You can find snacks, cleaning supplies, and some basic household goods scattered around the shop. The lighting inside is a bit dim because one of the tubes keeps flickering, but we have not gotten around to fixing it yet. It gives the place a familiar feel, I suppose. Most of our customers are just people living in the nearby apartments who forgot to buy something at the big market. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while I check the inventory. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things fall off if you are not careful. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big staff, just me and occasionally my brother when he is not busy elsewhere. It gets quite dusty with the wind blowing through the open door, so there is a lot of cleaning to do every evening. We keep the prices written on the items with a marker so there is no confusion. It is a simple business with no real surprises. We just keep the doors open six days a week and hope the rain does not leak through the front awning. That is the way it has always been for us.
