Synthopharm Chemicals

People often miss our turn at Plot No. C-1/220/221/3 because the signs in Phase-2 of the GIDC aren't always the clearest. We are right opposite Arbuda Estate, which usually helps people find us. Synthopharm Chemicals isn't some big fancy office building with a glass front. It’s a working site. We have a lot of drums and equipment sitting around the yard. Most of us here have been working together for quite a few years now. The morning usually starts with checking the schedule and making sure the machinery is running okay. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal roofing. We just focus on the chemical processing and making sure things are packed up for the trucks that come in the evening. There is always a lot of noise from the neighboring plots, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or marketing stuff because there is always something that needs fixing or moving. The tea lady comes by around four, and that’s usually when we take a quick break to sit on the crates and talk about the cricket or whatever else is going on in Vatva. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come through the door. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in dust or busy with a clipboard.
