Napthochem

We are located out in Vatva, at Plot No. 186 in Phase II of the G.I.D.C. It’s a real industrial zone, so don’t expect anything pretty. There’s a lot of metal and concrete everywhere you look. We’ve got our shed here where we handle the Napthochem business. It’s usually pretty hot inside because of the roof, but we’ve got some big windows that let a breeze through. Most of our day is spent looking at gauges or checking on the drums. It’s messy work sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been in Phase II for quite a while now and we know the guys at the surrounding plots. We mostly just keep to ourselves and get the production done. There’s a small room we use for the office work, but even that has a layer of dust on the files. The trucks come in the morning to pick up what we’ve finished, and that’s usually the busiest time for everyone. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door; you just walk in and find whoever is on the floor. It’s just a straightforward operation. We don’t worry about the latest trends or anything, we just focus on making sure the batches are right before they go out. It's just a regular day in the industrial estate for us.
