N J Devani Road Construction is based at Plot No. 732 in Isanpur Nagar. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the Batawa area. It’s a pretty busy part of town, which makes sense for what we do. Our yard is usually full of heavy rollers, mixers, and piles of gravel or sand depending on what project is going on at the moment. It’s not exactly a clean or quiet place. There is always the smell of diesel and the sound of engines being warmed up in the early morning. We do a lot of work on the local roads around here, so you’ve probably seen our equipment out and about even if you didn't know it was ours. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and the payroll stuff, but most of us spend the day outside on the actual sites. Road work is tough and the sun can be brutal in Isanpur, but we’ve been at it for long enough that we don’t think much about it anymore. We aren't big on corporate talk or fancy brochures. If a road needs fixing, we just get the crew together and go do it. It’s straightforward work that keeps the city moving. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when we’re loading up the trucks, but that’s just part of being a construction business in a neighborhood like this. We just keep our machines running.
