Bhumee Road Equipments

Out here in Kathwada Gidc at Plot No. 233, we mostly deal with equipment used for building roads. If you see a big machine out on the highway, there is a chance some of the parts or the maintenance happened right here. It is a big shed filled with welding gear and heavy tools. Road No. 2 is always dusty because of the constant movement of vehicles. We have a lot of iron and heavy plates sitting around. It takes a lot of effort to move those things. We don't really have a showroom or anything polished. You just walk in and see the guys working on whatever machine is currently taken apart. Sometimes we are fixing a mixer that broke down on a site, and other times we are putting together something new. It’s a lot of hard physical work. The sparks from the grinders are flying all day long. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy inside with all the welding going on. We don't spend money on fancy signs. People find us because they need their gear fixed or they need a specific type of equipment that we handle. Our shop has a bit of a lean-to in the back where we keep the older spare parts. It’s messy but we know where everything is kept. We just try to finish the work so the road crews can get back to their jobs without waiting too long.
