You can find Macons Equipments at F-13 in Akshardham Intercity. We’re right near the Baroda Expressway and just beside the Sai Baba Mandir in C.T.M. It’s a very busy spot in Ahmedabad. You can hear the traffic from the expressway almost all day long, but you get used to it. The office itself is pretty simple. We aren't into the whole modern glass-and-steel look. It’s a functional space where we keep our files and meet with people who need our help. Being near the mandir is nice; it gives a bit of a sense of place to the whole area. We don't have a big corporate handbook. We just show up, see what's on the list for the day, and get started. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a lot of people come in at once, but we just take it one person at a time. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news. It’s a very local feel. Most of us take the bus or ride our scooters to get here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or fancy coffee machines. We just want to do our jobs well so we can go home and relax. It’s a straightforward business. We handle the equipment, we talk to the customers, and we try to stay out of the sun when it’s at its peak. It’s just how we do things.
