Music Channel

Music Channel is based at 2 Shanti Towers. We are located near Manekbaug Hall in the Naherunagar part of Ambawadi. It is a nice enough area, and our office is just a regular room filled with computers and sound equipment. We aren't some big flashy studio with gold records on the wall. It’s mostly just a few people sitting around in t-shirts, picking out songs and making sure the broadcast stays on the air. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many cables and speakers everywhere. We spend a lot of time listening to different tracks and trying to figure out what sounds good. Sometimes we have local artists stop by, but mostly it's just us doing the behind-the-scenes work. We don't have a big mission statement or any fancy goals. We just like music and want to share it with whoever is tuning in. The view from Shanti Towers isn't much, just the street and other buildings, but it's home to us. We’ve had the same old coffee machine for years and it still makes a decent cup when we’re working late. It’s not a glamorous life, but it beats working a desk job in some quiet corporate office. We like the noise and the constant activity of being in Ambawadi. It keeps us going every day and makes the work feel like it matters to us.
