Music Brodcast Limited (Radio City)

You can find Music Brodcast Limited, which most people know as Radio City, over at Arjun Tower in the Ghatlodia area of Ahmedabad. Our office is B-1/23, right across from CP Nagar Part-2. It’s a busy spot near the Bhuyangdev Char Rasta. Being in a place like this means there is always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s all about the radio. We have some equipment and people talking into microphones, trying to keep the broadcast going throughout the day. It’s not always glamorous like people think radio is. There’s a lot of sitting around and checking schedules or fixing technical glitches that pop up out of nowhere. The neighborhood is full of apartments like the Saundarya Apts, so we feel like we’re right in the middle of where people live and listen to us. We’ve been in this part of Ahmedabad for quite some time now. Our team is a mix of people who love music and people who just know how to run the machines properly. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay on top of the playlist every single day. It gets pretty hectic during the live shows, but that’s just how it goes in the broadcasting world. We don’t really have a big reception area, just a door in the hallway of Arjun Tower. It’s a working office where the main goal is just to stay on the air and keep things moving along for our listeners.
