Mother Dairy Gandhinagar

We are located right near the Indira Bridge on the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Highway. The exact spot is Plot No. 35 in Village Bhat, which is part of the Gandhinagar district. Being Mother Dairy Gandhinagar means we are constantly dealing with milk and dairy stuff at all hours. The highway is right there, so the sound of trucks is constant. It never really gets quiet, even in the middle of the night. We have a lot of space on this plot, which is good because the tankers need room to turn around. Most of the staff comes from the local village or nearby areas. We start very early, often before the sun is even up, to get things ready for the morning deliveries. It can be quite cold in the winter mornings out here by the bridge. We wear heavy jackets and keep the tea kettle going. There is a lot of cleaning involved in this job. You have to wash down the floors and the equipment constantly. It’s not a desk job, that’s for sure. We are always moving, checking temperatures, and making sure the crates are stacked right. The location is handy because we can get onto the highway quickly to head into the city. It’s a busy, practical place where we just focus on the daily milk run and nothing else. There is always something to do and we just get on with it every single day.
