At Modtech Machines Private Limited, we are based at Plot No. 73 in the New Ahmedabad Industrial Estate in Moriaya. We are right behind the Zydus Research building, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop floor is usually noisy with the sound of machines and people shouting to be heard. We’ve got a lot of metal and parts sitting around. It’s a real industrial environment. We don't have a dedicated cleaning crew, so we just sweep up ourselves at the end of the shift. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main area. It gets a bit hot in the summer because the roof is high and hard to cool. We’ve been working out of this Moriaya spot for a good number of years now. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know each other's families. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. We just know how the machines should run and we make sure they do. If something breaks, we fix it. There’s always a bit of grease on someone’s hands. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come to Plot 73, you’ll likely find us in our work gear. We just take care of the business and try to stay on schedule with the production.
