Misri Medical And General Stores is located in Shop-B-6 on the ground floor. You will find us in the Baleshwar Vihar Complex over in Bopal. Bopal has changed a lot since we first opened up. There are so many new buildings and people now. We sell a bit of everything here. Medicines are the main thing, but we also have general items like shampoo, soap, and snacks. It’s convenient for the people who live in the complex. They can just walk down and grab what they need without going far. The shop is small and the shelves are built quite high. I often have to use a small ladder to reach the stuff on top. My brother and I run the place together. We don't have any formal training in business, we just learned as we went along. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than three customers inside. We know most of the regulars and their families by name. It’s nice to have a chat while counting out change at the counter. We don’t use a computer for every little thing; some stuff is still written in our old ledger. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the supply truck is late and we have to tell people to come back in the evening. They don't usually mind much. We aren't a big chain store, just a neighborhood shop. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till night.
