Micro Coldforge

You can find Micro Coldforge down in Peenya Industrial Estate. We are at D-429 on the 10th Main road, in the 2nd Stage area. It’s a noisy part of town because of all the factories, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of machinery by now. Our shop floor is usually pretty busy. We work with metal and forging, so it gets a bit warm inside during the afternoons. The building is an old industrial shed, nothing fancy to look at. We’ve got a small office at the front where we handle the paperwork and take calls. Most of our guys have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone. We don’t really spend money on fancy signage or marketing. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this estate for decades. Peenya is a big place, so we tell people to look for the 10th Main landmark. It’s a practical workspace. We have grease on our hands most days and there’s always something that needs fixing. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the shifts. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. The floor is covered in scrap metal sometimes, but we clean up before we head home. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the orders coming in. We like the grit of this industrial life.
