Aakar Exports

Aakar Exports is based out of room 405 in the Shantam Complex. We are right on Gurukul Road in Memnagar, and if you know where the Ageta Tennis Court is, we are just a stone’s throw from there. The address we use even repeats the tennis court part because that is the easiest way for people to find the building. Sometimes, when the windows are open, we can actually hear the sound of the tennis matches going on outside. We have been in this building for quite a while, and most of the other businesses here know us by now. Our office is usually full of boxes and packing tape because there is always something being prepared to go out. It is not a very big space, so we have to be careful not to trip over things. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and you will see us at our desks surrounded by piles of documents and samples. The elevator in the complex is a bit temperamental, so we often end up taking the stairs to the fourth floor, which is good exercise if nothing else. It is a small operation with only a handful of us handling everything from the initial orders to the final shipping details. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails, trying to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. It is a lot of work.
