You can find us on the ground floor of Aakar Complex, which is on Relief Road near the old Relief Cinema. If you’ve ever been to Gandhi Road, you know how loud and crowded it gets. There’s always someone shouting or a rickshaw honking right outside our door. We’ve been doing advertising and marketing from this little office for a long time. The space is filled with old samples of posters and banners we’ve made over the years. The walls are a bit yellowed from the age, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that we’ve just learned to ignore. We mostly help the local shopkeepers and small businesses around here get their printing and signs done. It’s not like those big fancy agencies you see on TV. We sit at our old desks, drink tea, and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the printers jam or we run out of a certain type of paper, and I have to go running down the street to find a supplier. Relief Road is a hectic place to work, but it’s got a lot of life to it. We know most of the other business owners in the complex. We don't have a big marketing pitch for ourselves. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving and helps us stay connected to the city.
