Marlboro Engineering Works

Marlboro Engineering Works is located over on Deepa Textile Road, right in the Goldwins area. We've been at 613 for several years now, tucked away near the Civil Aerodrome Post. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and tools going in the background. We aren't a huge operation, just a handful of us who know our way around metal and repairs. Most days, we’re busy with whatever projects come through the door, whether it’s small parts or bigger fixes. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty, and there's oil on the floor sometimes, but that’s the nature of engineering. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or a front desk person. Instead, we just focus on the machines and getting the measurements right. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need something sorted out. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons here, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, but we prefer to do it properly rather than rushing it. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but our little corner on Deepa Textile Road stays pretty much the same. It’s just a place where we put in our hours and try to be useful to the local trade. It is a noisy place but it's where we work.
