Madhuvan Hotel is located in the Navrangpura area, specifically at La-Bunglow on C G Road. If you know Ahmedabad, you know C G Road is one of those places that never really stays quiet. We are situated right above Swagat Restaurant, so you have to head upstairs to find us. Being near Girish Cold Drink is another way people find their way here, as that’s a spot everyone seems to know. It’s an older building, and we’ve tried to keep things pretty straightforward inside. There are no elevators or fancy lobbies, just the stairs and then the rooms. Navrangpura is a busy mix of offices and shops, so there is always something happening on the street below. We get all sorts of people staying here, mostly folks who just need a place to crash for a night or two while they handle business in the city. It’s not a big luxury hotel, just a basic setup that’s been around for years. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the linens sorted, and the afternoons are usually spent dealing with the general upkeep of an older property. The plumbing acts up sometimes or a bulb needs changing, but we just get on with it. It’s a practical place for people who aren't looking for anything more than the basics. Living and working on C G Road means you’re always in the middle of it all, even if you’re just a small hotel above a restaurant.
