We have been here at 12 Sarkhej Juhapura for a long time now. People around here know the shop well. It's a small place, really, packed with all sorts of things you might need suddenly. We keep the medicines on one side and the daily stuff like soap and biscuits on the other. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the sun is high and everyone wants something at once. The shelves are a bit old but they hold everything together. My father started this and now I spend most of my day behind the counter. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or glass doors that slide open by themselves. It is just a regular shop where we try to keep what people ask for. If someone needs a specific tablet or just some tea leaves, they come here. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the market. We know most of our customers by their faces and sometimes their names too. It’s funny how you see kids grow up just by watching them come in for chocolates over the years. We open early and stay till late evening because that is when people get off work and remember they forgot to buy something for home. It is just Lukman Medical And Prov Stores, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep doing what we do every day.
