You can find Leela Alloys Pvt. Ltd. at E-376 in the M.J.A. Phase II area. It’s a pretty standard industrial shed where we spend our days dealing with various metal alloys. We started out small with just a few basic tools and have slowly added more over the years. The place is often full of drums and stacks of metal ingots, which makes it a bit hard to move around sometimes. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy sales strategy. It’s mostly just me and a couple of supervisors keeping an eye on the melts. We supply to other local factories that need specific metal mixes for their products. Sometimes the price of raw materials jumps up and we have to spend time on the phone explaining it to our long-time customers. They usually get it because we’ve known them for years. My brother handles the paperwork on the weekends to keep things straight. There’s no air conditioning here, just some big industrial fans that move the hot air around. It’s a lot of manual labor and the smell of hot metal is everywhere. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We just want to do the work, get it right, and head home to our families at the end of the day.
