Le Meridien Hotel

Khanpur Circle is a landmark in itself, and being right near Nehru Bridge means we are in the thick of it. The Khanpur area has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk around the streets nearby. Our hotel is just there at the circle, 380001. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s never really a quiet moment during the day. We don’t have a fancy way of saying we run a hotel. We just do the daily chores, like keeping the lobby swept and answering the same questions about where the best food is or how to get to the airport. The rooms are what they are, and we try to keep them in good shape. It’s hard work, especially when it’s busy and everyone wants something at the same time. We aren’t trying to win any awards for being the most polished place in town. We’re just a practical choice for people who need to be in this part of Ahmedabad. The staff is a mix of people who have been here for years and some new faces, but we all just focus on the task at hand. It’s an honest living. We don’t use scripts when we talk to people; we just speak like normal folks. Sometimes the coffee is hot, sometimes the AC is cold, and we just keep going. It’s just us here at the circle.
