Le Meridien Ahmedabad

This place is right near Nehru Bridge, which is one of the busiest spots in Ahmedabad. If you look out the window, you can see the Sabarmati and all the traffic moving across the water. It’s the 380001 area, so it’s quite central and always humming with some kind of activity. We’ve been working here for a while now, and you get used to the constant sound of horns and the heat coming off the pavement. It’s a straightforward hotel. We don’t go in for all that corporate talk or polished marketing. We’re just a bunch of people making sure the rooms are clean and the guests get their keys on time. The building is a bit older, which means there’s always something that needs fixing or a corner that needs painting, but we stay on top of it as best we can. It’s not perfect, but it’s real. We see a lot of business travelers who are just looking for a place to crash after a long day in the city. We don’t promise them the moon, we just give them a place to stay. Some mornings are better than others, especially when the weather is actually nice before the sun gets too high. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, without making a big deal out of it. It’s just how we operate around here in the heart of the city.
