Laxmi Brush Ind. is based in G-475, Mangolpuri. This is an industrial area, so it’s exactly what you’d expect. It’s loud, dusty, and there’s always someone moving something heavy. We make brushes here. It’s not a complicated thing to explain, but it takes a lot of effort to get them right. Our workshop is filled with raw materials and machines that have been around for a long time. We spend our hours sorting bristles and making sure the handles are attached properly. It’s repetitive work, but we take it seriously. The floor is usually covered in bits and pieces of whatever we’re working on. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us right there on the production floor. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the orders are filled. Mangolpuri can be a tough place to work, especially in the summer heat, but we’re used to it. We take our breaks when we can and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making brushes that people need for their homes or factories. It’s honest, manual labor. We’ve been here for years, and we know our way around the machines like the back of our hands. It’s just a normal day at the factory for us, getting the job done one brush at a time.
