Our office is located right in Nava Vadaj, across from the SBI branch at Ramghar Apartments. If you know this part of Ahmedabad, you know it gets pretty lively around here, especially with the Vyasvadi area right nearby. We occupy unit 40. It’s a decent space, nothing too flashy, but it serves us well. Every morning starts with opening up the windows to let some air in before the heat really kicks in for the afternoon. You can hear the scooters zipping by outside all day long. We have a few desks set up and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is mostly just about staying on top of the daily tasks that come our way. We have a small kettle for making chai, which is basically the most important piece of equipment we own. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we manage just fine. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the place runs without having to talk about it much. It’s just a regular work environment where we focus on what needs doing. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first moved in, with new shops popping up all the time. Still, our little corner in Ramghar Apartments stays pretty much the same. It feels like home to us after all this time working for Larsen Toubro Ltd.
