You can find us at 18, Shayona Bunglows-3, which is on R.C. Technical Road in the Ghatlodiya area of Ahmedabad. This is a Larsen & Toubro Ltd. office, but it’s set up in a residential bunglow. It gives the place a different feel than a standard office building downtown. We like it because it’s a bit more relaxed, though we are still very busy with our engineering and construction work. Ahmedabad is a fast-growing city, and being in the 380061 zip code puts us in a good spot to reach different sites. We have our meetings in what used to be a living room, and we keep our project documents organized in the back. There’s always someone coming or going, whether it’s a supplier or one of the site supervisors. We don't have a big sign or anything too flashy out front. We just do our work and try to stay organized. It gets pretty hot in Gujarat, so the fan is always running. We talk about the local projects and how to move things through the heavy city traffic. It’s a very hands-on way to run things. We’ve been here for a good while and the neighbors are used to us by now. It’s just a group of people working hard to make sure the company’s local goals are met. It feels like home and a workplace all at once. We like the neighborhood. It keeps us grounded.
