L & T - Ecc Division

We are over at the Sakar II building, room 1009, which is right near Ellis Bridge on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad. This is the L & T - Ecc Division office, also known as Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Ashram Road is one of those places that’s always packed with traffic, so we hear a lot of horns all day long. Being on the tenth floor gives us a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy with the files to look out the window. We handle a lot of the engineering and construction stuff for the Gujarat region from this spot. It’s a professional enough space, but it’s definitely lived-in. There are stacks of paper everywhere and old folders that have been around for years. We aren't trying to be fancy with our decorations. We have desks, computers, and a lot of site photos pinned up. Working near Ellis Bridge makes it easy for people to find us, even if the parking in the building is a bit tight. We get a lot of visitors coming in for meetings about the various infrastructure projects. It’s just a group of us trying to make sure the numbers add up and the supplies are moving. The air conditioning is our best friend during the Ahmedabad summers. We just keep our heads down and work through the lists. It's a busy, noisy, and very practical place to be every day. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby because the food is good.
