Our team operates out of 302/Reeve Flats over in the Sama area of Vadodara. It is a decent spot and it works well for what we need to get done. Being in a residential building like Reeve Flats makes the whole day feel a bit more relaxed than being in a noisy commercial district. Larsen Toubro Lmt is run from here, and we have set up our desks in a way that makes sense for us. It is not a polished office with a receptionist or a lobby. It is just a flat where we do our business. Sometimes the elevator takes a long time, so we just walk up the stairs to get some exercise. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or sorting through stacks of papers. There is always something to keep us busy. We know the shops around the corner in Sama pretty well by now. It is a simple setup without any of that corporate stuff people usually expect. We wear regular clothes and just focus on finishing the work we have for the day. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to be too loud while we are working. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, but we actually prefer it that way. We have our coffee, we do our tasks, and we go home.
