Kruti Interior Designer & Architects is based in the B/606 unit of Harekrishna Complex. We are on Ashram Road, right in the Ellis Bridge area of Ahmedabad. If you know the Kothawala Flats, we are right across from them. Ashram Road is one of the busiest parts of the city, so there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the traffic and the honking from our window most of the day. Our space is filled with material samples, fabric swatches, and piles of blueprints. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because we are always in the middle of something. We spend our time trying to figure out how to fit furniture into rooms or picking out colors for walls. It’s not like those glossy magazines you see. It’s mostly about solving practical problems and dealing with contractors. We’ve been in this complex for a good while. The building itself has a lot of other offices, so there’s a lot of coming and going. Sometimes we walk down to the bridge just to get some air. We don't really have a big sales pitch. People usually find us because they saw something we did or they work nearby. It’s just a few of us here doing the design work and trying to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of looking at measurements and hoping the delivery arrives on time. That’s just how it goes for us on Ashram Road. It is a lot of work but we keep at it every day.
