About Ashvattham Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Ahmedabad
We spend most of our days up here on the 6th floor of Sumeru Centre. It’s a busy spot in C/5 and we’ve been here long enough that the elevator sounds are just part of the background now. Most people know Ashvattham Architect as the place where there are always rolls of paper and half-empty coffee mugs sitting on every surface. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just where we sit and work on drawings and talk through how things are going to get built. Sometimes the sun hits the windows just right in the afternoon and we have to pull the blinds to see our screens. We don't have a big front desk or anyone to greet you with a script. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk and says hello. Dealing with blueprints and city codes takes up a lot of time, so there is always someone staring at a monitor or arguing about a specific measurement. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get to and there are good places to grab a quick lunch nearby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-discussion about a site visit or trying to fix the plotter again. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without much fuss. We’ve got our routine down and the office feels like a second home at this point.
