Anand Patel Architects

Anand Patel Architects is up on the 4th floor of Shanti Mall, specifically at 402, right near Sattadhar Cross Road. Being in a mall is a bit strange for an architecture office, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator or watching people walk by from the window. The office itself is full of computers and stacks of folders that seem to grow every week. We work on all kinds of drawings here. Sattadhar Cross Road is always bustling, and that energy kind of makes its way up to our floor. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big meetings in boardrooms. Usually, we are just huddled around a monitor trying to fix a staircase design or checking if a beam is in the right spot. Lunch usually comes from one of the shops downstairs. It’s a practical way to live and work. Some days are slow and we just tidy up our desks, but most days we are trying to meet some deadline or another. We’ve been in Shanti Mall for a while now, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just keep drawing and planning. It’s a decent place to spend the day if you don't mind the hum of the mall's air conditioning and the occasional music from the hallway.
