Krishna Dryfruits

If you head down Shahibaug Road and look across from the Swaminarayan Temple, you’ll find us in Advance Plaza. Krishna Dryfruits is a small operation, mostly just us surrounded by bags and boxes of stock. The temple brings a lot of people to this street, especially on weekends and festivals, so it gets pretty lively around here. We’ve been in this plaza for a bit, and it’s a good spot because everyone knows where the temple is. Inside our place, it usually smells like nuts and dried raisins. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the quality is decent and the customers are satisfied with what they buy. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and answering the phone. The office isn't very large, so we have to stay organized, or things get messy fast. Sometimes the elevator in Advance Plaza is acting up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like, which is a bit of a workout. It’s just the reality of working in an older building. We like the area, though. Shahibaug has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a small part of it. We don't make big promises, we just try to have the dry fruits ready when people come looking. It’s a straightforward business and that is how we like to keep it. We just show up and do the work.
