Kothari Architect & Interior Designer

We run Kothari Architect & Interior Designer out of D/3/8Avash Flat. It’s more of a personal setup than a big storefront office, which means things are pretty informal. You might hear the tea kettle going in the background while we look over your floor plans. Since we are in a residential flat, it feels more like a home than a workplace, and that seems to put people at ease. We handle the structural parts but also help pick out colors and furniture if that’s what’s needed. The living room area is basically our main work zone, filled with catalogs and drawing boards. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to get things done. It’s nice because we don't have to deal with a lot of corporate rules. If we want to work late on a Saturday to finish a design, we just do it. We get a lot of local clients who like that they can just come over to a flat and talk about their renovation ideas without feeling intimidated. We’ve worked on all sorts of rooms, making do with whatever space is available. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, right here in Avash Flat. We don't use much marketing; people usually just find us through friends or neighbors who liked our work.
