Kotak Mahindra Group

We’re located over at Amber Tower on the Sarkhej Highway Road here in Ahmedabad. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming off the highway every morning. Most of us have been working here for a few years now, just handling the day-to-day stuff that comes with being part of the Kotak Mahindra Group. It’s not a huge office, just a regular space where we get through the paperwork and talk to folks about their accounts. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. We try to keep things simple. There’s a tea stall just down the road where some of us head out during the break to get away from the screens for a bit. The desks are usually piled with files and we’re always looking for that one specific pen that always seems to go missing. It’s just us doing our jobs, really. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or anything like that, just a kettle in the corner. People stop by to ask about their money or get some forms filled out. Being in Ahmedabad-55 means we get a mix of local residents and people just passing through the city. It’s a decent place to work, even if the road noise gets a bit loud in the afternoons when the trucks are moving. We just keep our heads down and finish the work before heading home.
