We are based at No. 6 New Karnavati Society, which is right behind the Lal Bunglow on C. G. Road. This part of the city is always moving, but our spot is a little tucked away behind the main road. Kokila Cotton Export Pvt. Ltd. is our family-run thing. We deal with a lot of cotton, obviously. The office is usually full of samples and little bits of white fluff that get on everyone's clothes. C. G. Road is famous for shopping, but we are more on the side of getting the raw materials out to where they need to go. We have been here for a good while. The Lal Bunglow is the best way to find us if you are lost. Our days start early when the first trucks arrive. It is a lot of paperwork and checking quality by hand. We do not have a big corporate structure with managers for everything. It is just us and a few helpers. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the yard a mess, but we keep the cotton dry. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just buy cotton and we sell it. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If you walk behind the bungalow, you will see our sign and probably hear us arguing about shipping dates.
