Our office is up on the 12th floor of The Capital building on Science City Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a busy area, right across from the Hetarth Party Plot in Sola. Being up on the 12th floor gives us a pretty good view of the traffic below, though we don't spend much time looking out the windows. We handle chemical trading and supplies. It’s mostly paperwork, phone calls, and coordinating shipments from this office. It’s a bit more of a professional setting than a factory floor, but it’s still pretty laid back inside. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re some multinational giant. We’re just a group of people who know the chemical market in Gujarat. Sometimes the elevators are slow in the morning, so we’ve learned to be patient. Our desks are usually piled with logistics forms and samples. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure things get delivered to the right places on time. It can get stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just work through it. We’ve been in Ahmedabad for a long time and we like being part of the business community here. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just do our jobs, handle the chemicals, and try to be helpful when someone calls with a question. That is what keeps us busy all week.
