K & M Jeans

K & M Jeans is tucked away in Lalshah House, over near the Bhagatwada area by the Khadia Paper Market. Khadia is a busy place, and the paper market brings in a lot of folks every day. We decided to set up here because there’s always a lot of movement and activity. We focus on jeans, which is a pretty straightforward business to be in. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have a good amount of stock inside for people to browse through. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the sizes are what they say they are. Sometimes the piles of denim get a bit messy, but we try our best to keep it sorted so people can find their fit without having to dig too much. It's just a few of us working here, so if we’re busy with one person, the others might have to wait a minute or two. We don't have any corporate manuals or anything like that. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the occasional squeaky door or a light that flickers a bit. But it’s a solid place to work. We like being near the paper market because it feels like a real working part of the city. People come in looking for something durable, and we do our best to help them find it without a big fuss. That's just how we run things.
