Our location is at number five hundred and nine slash four in Parmanand Patels Chali. We are quite close to the old Hanjar Cinema in the Saraspur Kalupur area. It’s a very traditional part of town with a lot of history. The chali is a tight-knit place where everyone knows everyone else. Our workspace isn't very large, but we use every inch of it. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with different materials. Most days, it’s just the sound of the sewing machines and people talking as they work. We get quite a lot of people walking by because of the nearby cinema and the general buzz of the neighborhood. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find air conditioning or fancy chairs. We sit where we can and get the job done. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come and peek through the door. It’s a lively atmosphere. We handle a lot of small orders for people around here. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to finish the day's work and be back again tomorrow. It’s a simple life, really. We take things as they come and try not to worry too much if things get a bit messy during a busy week. That's just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad.
