Kalptaru Chemicals

Kalptaru Chemicals is a small operation located at 5, Ashadeep Apt., right opposite the Canara Bank at L.G. Corner in Maninagar. Being in an apartment building makes the business feel a bit more personal, I think. We aren't some giant chemical factory; we mostly handle the trading and the supply side of things from this office. Maninagar is a lively area of Ahmedabad, and being near L.G. Corner means there is always something happening right outside. We spend our days talking to manufacturers and finding the right chemicals for our customers. It involves a lot of technical talk and making sure all the safety sheets are in order. The office is simple, just a few desks and some samples on the shelves. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors all know us. It’s the kind of place where we stop for a chat with the bank staff across the street. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us, working through the orders and making sure the deliveries are on time. Some days it is just a lot of paperwork and phone calls to suppliers, but we like the routine of it. It’s a honest way to make a living and we just keep things running as best as we can from our little spot here.
