Jakson Engineers

We are located at C-1/513 in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Area. It’s in the Odhav part of town, not too far from the Odhav Post Office. Being in the GIDC means we are surrounded by other small workshops and factories. Jakson Engineers is just a small unit compared to some of the big ones nearby. We do our engineering work in a space that’s mostly filled with tools and some workbenches. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, but that’s just how it is in an industrial area. There is a lot of grease and metal scraps around. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the number on the door. The post office nearby is a good landmark for people who get lost trying to find our block. It gets quite stuffy inside during the afternoons, so we usually keep the main door wide open to get some air. We have a small kettle for making tea, which is probably the most used thing in the office part. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We just focus on the jobs we have and try to keep the equipment in good shape. It works for us.
