Jaipur Saree Kendra

You can find us at the Montecristo Banquet building, right at the end of Sindhubhavan Road near the S.P. Ring Road. It’s a busy spot, especially on the weekends when there are big events going on at the banquet hall. We have been here for a while now, selling all kinds of sarees to the people who stop by. The shop is filled with stacks of fabric in every color you can think of. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations because the sarees themselves take up all the space we have. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get out to the Ring Road, but we have a steady stream of folks coming in anyway. The light in the shop is okay, though we sometimes have to take a piece of cloth to the door to see the real color in the natural sunlight. We aren't a big chain or anything. It's just a few of us here helping people find what they need for their families. Sometimes the shop gets very crowded and it’s hard to move around, but that’s just part of the business. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding things. It’s not a high-tech job, just a lot of talking to customers and keeping the shelves tidy. We like the location because there’s plenty of parking and it’s easy for people to find once they get onto Sindhubhavan Road and drive to the end.
