Institute Of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad

Our place is Row House No.8 in Amidhara Society, which is over in the Bopal area of Ahmedabad. It is quite close to the church there. We run the Institute of Hotel Management from this spot. It is not a massive campus like you might see in movies, but it works for what we do. We spend our days teaching people about how hotels work and what they need to do to get a job in that field. There are always students coming in and out, which keeps the energy up around the row house. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone is here at once. We talk a lot about cooking, cleaning, and how to talk to guests. It is practical stuff that people actually need to know. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice for the classes. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just show up and share what we know about the hospitality world. Some days we are demonstrating how to set a table or manage a front desk. It is hands-on work. We have got desks and some kitchen equipment set up inside. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. Bopal has grown a lot since we first set up here. We just keep doing our thing, trying to help folks get a start in the hotel business without making it too complicated. It is just a normal day of teaching for us.
