India Wind Power Limited

India Wind Power Limited is based in A-801 of the Nirman Complex in Navrangpura. We are right opposite the Havmor Restaurant, which is a great landmark because everyone knows where to find good food. Being on the eighth floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, which is nice when things get stressful. Our office is a mix of engineering talk and administrative work. We deal with wind energy, so there are always maps and technical drawings of turbine sites lying around. Navrangpura is a central spot in Ahmedabad, so it’s easy for our staff to commute. The office itself is pretty standard—desks, computers, and a small area for meetings that usually ends up being used for stacking files. We aren’t really into the flashy corporate look. Most of the furniture has been here for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with people out in the field. It’s a busy place but we try to keep it friendly. Sometimes the elevator in Nirman Complex takes forever, but that’s just how it is. We focus on the renewable energy side of things and try to keep the paperwork moving so the projects stay on track. It’s a lot of coordination and checking data points, nothing too glamorous but it keeps the lights on.
