Hyperactive

Our shop is at G-9 in Kishor Plaza, right on Station Road. Being near the station means there is a constant stream of people walking past the window from morning until late at night. It’s a small unit in the plaza, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We’ve got shelves lining the walls all the way to the ceiling to hold all our stock. The name on the door says Hyperactive, but some days we’re just trying to keep up with the paperwork. It’s a busy spot, and the noise from the trains and the traffic is something you just get used to after a week. We spend a lot of our time helping people who drop in while they’re on their way to catch a commute. There is always someone coming in with a question or looking for a specific item. We keep things pretty informal here. There’s no dress code, just whatever is comfortable for moving boxes around. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the street noise. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big shipment in, and we have to stack things in the hallway for a minute. We just stay focused on getting through the day’s tasks. It’s a lively place to work and there is never a dull moment when you’re this close to the station.
