Huntsman International

Our office is over in Ahmedabad, specifically in the Paldi area at H-6, Komal Enclave. Paldi is a nice enough place, pretty central but still has some quiet spots if you know where to look. Komal Enclave is one of those typical apartment complexes where people know their neighbors. We use one of the units there for Huntsman International. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for the few of us who are here every day. The walls are painted a light cream color that’s started to fade a bit near the windows. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the Gujarat streets—the rickshaws and the occasional bell from a nearby temple. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick chat about what needs to happen before the sun gets too high. In Ahmedabad, the heat is no joke, so we mostly stay indoors once it hits noon. The furniture is all mismatched because we just added pieces as we needed them over the years. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but we know where everything is. We don't bother with corporate talk or anything like that. We just do our work, talk to the people we need to, and head home to our families. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us. Most of us have been in this city for years and we like the pace of life here.
