Hotel Satluj Inn

You can find us on the Naroda Road, right on NH No 8. We are sitting just opposite the Bhagat Petrol Pump in the Krishna Nagar area. Being on the national highway means we get all sorts of people stopping by at odd hours. Mostly it's people driving through who are tired and need a place to crash for a night. Hotel Satluj Inn isn't a big, polished hotel like the ones in the city center. It’s more of a roadside inn where things are kept very simple. We’ve got the petrol pump right across from us, so there’s always the smell of fuel and the sound of big engines idling. It’s a practical location for travelers. We handle the check-ins and the cleaning ourselves. There’s no big staff here, just a couple of us who know the building well. The rooms are basic and we try to keep them decent for whoever walks in. It gets quite hot on the highway during the middle of the day. We spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the water is running in the bathrooms. It's a lot of routine stuff. We’ve been at this Krishna Nagar spot for some time now. People know us as the place across from Bhagat’s. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping people get some rest before they hit the road again tomorrow.
