Vejalpur is a busy part of Ahmedabad, and we are tucked away right behind the Vaijnath Temple. If you know the area, you know it is a bit of a maze with row houses and narrow streets everywhere. Our spot at Kanakdham Row House, number 35, is not exactly what you might expect when you hear about a 5-star hotel name. It is more of an administrative hub where we handle the small details that make the hotel run. We have a phone line at +91-9924927178, and it stays pretty busy most days of the week. Living and working behind a temple means there is always a bit of a peaceful vibe, though the traffic on the main road can be a real headache during the rush hour. We do not have a big lobby here or a fancy restaurant on-site; that is all over at the main property. In this office, it is mostly just desks, computers, and people trying to coordinate everything. It has a very local feel to it. The neighbors know us well, and we know the guy at the tea stall down the street. We have been in this location for a good while now. Sometimes people come looking for actual hotel rooms and we have to explain they need to go to the main building instead. It is a bit funny, but that is just how things go in a place like Vejalpur.
