Hotel Dev Palace Restaurant

We are located over in Raipur, Ahmedabad, right on the road that goes from Sarangpur to Raipur. The restaurant is part of the Dev Palace Hotel, and we’re pretty close to Raipur Gate and the Mahipatram Ashram. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially during lunch and dinner times. I’m usually in the kitchen or standing near the front making sure the tables are cleared. We don't have a big fancy menu with pictures; we just serve the regular stuff people like to eat every day. The place gets a lot of people who are visiting the ashram or just passing through the gate. It’s noisy and crowded, but that’s what a good local restaurant feels like. We’ve had the same cooks for a long time, so the taste doesn’t change much. We aren't trying to win any awards or anything. We just want to make sure the food is hot and the plates are clean. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes early if it’s a busy day. We don't do any big advertising. People just walk in because they smell the food or they’ve been coming here for years. It’s a straightforward business. We work hard, we serve the food, and then we clean up and do it again the next day. It’s how we’ve always done it. We just focus on getting the orders out on time for our regulars.
