You can find us over at No. 4 on the 1st Floor of the Balaji Estate in Isanpur. Isanpur is an area with a lot of industrial activity, and Balaji Estate is right in the thick of it. At Hindustan Medical Devices, we spend our time working with various types of medical equipment and tools. Being on the first floor means we are constantly moving boxes up and down the stairs or using the lift when it is actually working. It’s an active environment where we are either checking new stock that just arrived or packing up orders to be sent out to clinics and hospitals. The space at No. 4 is mostly filled with shelves and crates. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a fancy showroom. It’s more of a working warehouse and office mix. We wear comfortable clothes because the work can be a bit physical sometimes, shifting items around to make room for more. The estate is always noisy with the sound of other businesses and the traffic from the main Isanpur roads. We have our routine of starting early, having some tea, and then going through the list of what needs to be shipped out by the afternoon. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't try to be something we're not; we just focus on making sure the devices are where they need to be. It’s a lot of logistics work every day.
